Associate Attorney

Rachel Freeman is an accomplished Associate Attorney at DeWitt, Paruolo & Meek. Specializing in civil defense and regulatory matters, she is deeply committed to issues of tribal sovereignty, healthcare, civil rights, and environmental protection. A lifelong Oklahoman, Rachel's local insights enrich her legal expertise.

Her academic excellence began at the University of Central Oklahoma, graduating summa cum laude in Sociology-Substance Abuse Studies. Rachel then earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. During her law studies, she focused on Indigenous Rights, water rights, and climate change, receiving recognition like the American Jurisprudence Award in Water Law and the Pro Bono Award.

Rachel's professional journey at DeWitt, Paruolo & Meek started as a clerk, followed by passing the Uniform Bar Exam and initiating her legal practice. Her academic achievements include the Sociology Student of the Year 2018 and appearances on the President's and Dean's Honor Rolls.

In her free time Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband Adam and their two pets—Woody and Pepe.
