Joe Dowdell
Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Joe attended Dartmouth College, where he spent four years playing wide receiver for the Big Green football team. After graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Government, Joe served in the Peace Corps, teaching high school English in Rwanda’s Western Province for two years.
Once Joe returned home, he attended the University of Tulsa College of Law, earning his Juris Doctor in 2021. During law school, he worked with the Immigrant Rights Project, representing clients seeking asylum due to persecution in their home countries. In his second and third years of law school, he served in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Oklahoma, assisting with a variety of criminal and civil cases.
Joe has been recognized by Oklahoma Super Lawyers® as a Rising Star in 2025 and is an active member of the William J. Holloway, Jr. American Inn of Court. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching football and basketball, and traveling.
