DEREK COWAN
Derek Cowan received his Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University in 2013, cum laude. During law school he was a member of the Oklahoma City University Law Review and was the 1L Appellate Moot Court tournament champion. Derek received his Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honors from the University of Oklahoma in 1995. Derek is admitted to practice law in the State of Oklahoma, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Oklahoma. Derek is an active member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Oklahoma County Bar Association. Derek formerly served as regulatory and compliance counsel for a top-20 national life insurance company and worked as a senior claims adjuster for a top-10 national property and casualty insurance company before attending law school.
